Is VAT currently charged on Catering Equipment?
VAT is currently chargeable at 15%.
If ordering from overseas, it may be possible to supply goods exclusive of VAT, as long as the following conditions are met;
The goods must be sent out of the UK to a destination in another EU country
You must be registered for VAT in another EU country
Evidence of your VAT registration number can be provided, including your 2 letter country code

How do I place a warranty call?
A warranty call can be place quickly and easily. You will need your Proof of Purchase, Serial Number & Model Number in order to proceed with a claim. You then need to call the manufacturer’s Warranty line and they will be able to assist you. Please click here to view our Warranty information page.
Can product samples be supplied?
Samples may be provided on certain ranges, such as cutlery and crockery. These samples will be charged for as a refundable deposit on the return of the item to us.
Can the General Public purchase equipment from your site?
Domestic customers are very welcome to make a purchase from Catering Centre UK and benefit from the trade prices. Please note that prices shown on our site are exclusive of VAT which is applied during the checkout stage, at the current UK rate when purchasing.
Are your products manufactured within the UK?
We strongly promote UK manufacturers. Imported products are clearly marked and noted on our main sales pages.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
For all orders totalling a value of less than £70 (excluding VAT) there will be a charge of £5.We can offer free delivery services throughout Birmingham and the surrounding area. FREE delivery excludes some areas, namely N Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Wight. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / CHARGES
- All access to site must be measured and checked by customer, if we are unable to deliver the equipment into building, goods will be left outside. If goods are returned for restocking, charges will apply, 25% of RRP.
- To validate Warranty on Gas items you will require installation by a GAS SAFE Gas engineer who will need to fill in the warranty card, confirming the registration number. We are unable to place a service call if this has not been carried out.
- Installation to services, ie.gas can be quoted for by our GAS SAFE engineers.
- Removal of old equipment can be quoted for, eg. single door fridges £100 only if taken away when new fridge delivered. Service available within 50 miles of showroom. Rest of UK available by quotation.
ALL PRICES ARE PLUS VAT
- We will happily ship overseas to mainland Europe and also internationally (i.e. Nigeria). Prices are available on application, please contact us on Tel.0845 838 75 75 for up to date tariffs.
- We do our upmost to ensure that all deliveries are dispatched within 3 working days. If you are requiring next day delivery, you need to complete your order before 12.00 noon to secure this service (11.00am for BURCO products).
- Delivery is to curb side only and requires clear access to the site. Delivery does not include the installation, assembling or positioning of any item on site. Please ensure that there is adequate access for larger items as we cannot be held responsible for items that don’t fit through your doorways.
RETURNS
Items may be returned to us but be done so within 7 days, unused, in their original packaging and undamaged. A restocking fee,
normally 25% plus transportation costs is chargeable on returns.
WARRANTY
The majority of our equipment supplied, especially the heavy/capital items all come with anything from a 1 to 3 year warranty. Whether it’s a Parry, Blue Seal, Falcon, Lincat, Bravilor, Burco, Magimix, Maidaid, Kitchenaid, Gram, Lec or one of the other major brands we supply, we pride ourselves on our after sales service.

This covers the attention and replacement of parts due to mechanical breakdown. It does not cover incorrect operation, negligence, cleaning, programming, adjustments, and issues affected by a third party. In such cases a charge will be made.

This covers the replacement of parts due to mechanical breakdown. A charge will be issued for the labour content. It does not cover incorrect operation, negligence, cleaning, programming, adjustments, and issues affected by a third party. In such cases a charge will be made.
Back to Base
Covers the replacement of parts due to a mechanical breakdown. A charge will be issued for the postage. It does not cover incorrect operation, negligence, cleaning, programming, adjustments, and issues affected by a third party. In such cases a charge will be made.
